When I Get Into A Dither

Romans 15:13: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Philippians 4:6: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Webster*s definition of a dither: a state of indecision or nervousness.

I get into dithers altogether too often. And I get into dithers over things that are usually not worth the trouble. When I get into a dither I am not trusting the Lord and I have not sought His counsel or acted upon it. When I get into in a dither it is a lapse of faith. When I get into a dither, I am not at peace and my flesh is leading me. When I get into a dither I have forgotten God*s promises, or at least the promise that would keep me out of that particular dither. When I get into a dither I am not praying and I am not thankful and I am not rejoicing. When I get into a dither I am leaning on my own understanding.
